FOR A NEW SITE IN KOELOOK FOR THEIR GENERATING

STATION.

A Crown lease of the area coloured red on the enclosed

plan, for 75 years, (renewable on the usual terms)

commencing from the date when the said area, coloured

red, is placed at the Company's disposal, to be grant-

ed to the Company free of cost when the terms spesified

hereunder have been complied with.

The said area to be placed at the disposal of the

Company, as soon as these terms have been definitely

agreed to; the formalities prescribed by the Fore-

shores & Sea Bed Ordinance have been complied with and

the consent of the Secretary of State for the Colonies

has been obtained.

The said area to be reclaimed from the sea by the Com-

pany within 2 years from the date of a letter signad

by the Director of Public Works stating that the area

is at the disposal of the Company.

The reclamation to be protected by a sea-wall between

the points A & B and by rubble mounds, finished with

pitched slopes, set and painted in cement mortar,

between the points A & C and B & D. The sea-wall and

pitched slopes to be constructed in accordance with

plans approved by the Director of Public Works and the

reclamation to be carried out to such levels as he may

determine.

Facilities to be granted to the Company for obtaining

earth for the reclamation from Crown land in the

vicinity of the lot. The Director of Public Works to

have power to determine from what points earth may be

obtained.
